This week, Pastor Brad continues our Hope in Hard Times series with a challenge from 1 Peter 2 to take sin seriously. Peter reminds us that sinful desires wage war against our souls, and the choices we make shape the people we become and the witness we have to others. We’ll look at what it means to wage war on sin, change what is influencing us, and live in a way that points others to Jesus.

HOPE IN HARD TIMES

Life gets hard, and following Jesus does not mean we are protected from suffering. In this series through 1 Peter, we’ll see how Christians are called to live with hope in a world that can feel dark, hostile, and uncertain. Peter reminds us that suffering has a purpose, failure is not final, and God’s people are chosen and holy. Together, we’ll learn how to stand firm in our faith, fight sin, love and serve others, and keep our eyes fixed on the hope we have in Jesus.
